I didnt get it to complete. Every time it finishes it doesnt put the CYDIA icon on and I can't do anything about it. So as far as I know it worked but without the icon, and im screwed..or it didnt work AND then idk what happened.

Everytime I do this on my itouch it works thru the whole process..BUT after it reboots there is no CYDIA icon nor an ICY icon ( i tired ICY to see if that would help)
Any ideas?

This is the BEST walkthrough on the internet! I tried to jailbreak my Itouch 1G v 1.1.5 and had no success...once I loaded v3.0 and followed your directions EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT! And only in like 10 min!

is it possible to make my iphone 3g to a iphone 3gs.. without having cydia on there and crap like tht.just basically restoring the 3gs firmware onto my phone and making it a 3gs??

what programs do i have to download, to do so??

I tried the jailbreak several times and kept gettings tuck at the reboot stage.

Finally, I just unplugged the iPod from my computer & plugged it back in...BAM, worked like a charm!

I jailbroke my ipod and everything worked perfectly until it started to reboot. I've benn waiting 4 hours and it still has the apple logo on the screen. Please help. =)

Hey i got my iPod working.. P.S. MY COMPUTER DIDN'T RECOGNIZE MY IPOD, but I think it crashed because I didn't restore the firmware before jailbreak.. but my iPod is working perfectly and I'm glad I finally got it jailbroke because I'm addicted to Super Mario!
